New to Neon in January

Next month Sky’s streaming service Neon will launch four series express from the US.

They will include three premieres and the fifth season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (weekly from January 15).

The Outsider (weekly from January 13) is a Stephen King dramatisation about a murder investigation with a supernatural twist starring Ben Mendelsohn, Jason Bateman and Cynthia Ervo.

The New Pope (weekly from January 16) is a Young Pope sequel about the appointment of a new pope while his predecessor’s in a coma. Jude Law and John Malkovich star.

Avenue 5 (weekly from January 23) is a space tourism comedy from Veep creator Armando Iannucci set 40 years from now. Hugh Laurie, Josh Gad, Zach Woods and Rebecca Front star.

Also new to Neon next month will be the panned TV version of Four Weddings and a Funeral (S1, January 18), true-crime documentary Who Killed Garrett Phillips (January 19), S1-5 of Big Love (January 8) and the movies:
