New to Neon in June

Sky’s streaming service Neon will beef up its slate with the fast-tracking of five series next month, including the premiere of HBO’s Euphoria (weekly from June 21).

Also being expedited are Riviera S2 (weekly from June 1), Fear the Walking Dead S5A (weekly from June 9), Pose S2 (weekly from June 10) and Younger S6 (weekly from June 13).

Described as Skins meets Trainspotting, Euphoria is based on the successful Israeli show of the same name, about a 17-year-old fresh out of rehab, struggling to stay clean and make sense of her future in a world where drug-filled parties are fuelled by anxiety-ridden, day-to-day life.

Other channel premieres will include Elementary S6 (June 18), Billions S4 (June 20), SMILF S2 (June 25), Cleaning Up (June 28) and the Deadwood movie and S1-3 (June 11).

Also new will be the documentaries McQueen, Tea with the Dames, Westwood: Icon, Punk, Activist and The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley (from June 4), United Skates (June 10) and It’s a Hard Truth, Ain’t It (June 28).

Movie premieres will include Chappaquiddick, Halloween and The Predator.
