New to Neon in March

A Town Called Malice (March 26) is a Sky Max drama about a new generation of a fading crime clan in ’80s UK who try to recapture the family’s halcyon days on Spain’s Costa del Sol.

Jack Rowa, Tahirah Sharif, Dougray Scott, Jason Flemyng and Martha Plimpton star.

NME likened the promising premise to: “If Dallas made love to Pulp Fiction to the sounds of Duran Duran”.

Gotham Knights (March 17) is the latest CW superhero series.

Not to be confused with the 2022 video game of the same name,” it’s “about a posse of deep-cut, juvenile delinquents from the Batman canon  [who] take centrestage after they are framed for Bruce Wayne’s murder”.

Other premieres will include S2 of Perry Mason (March 7), S1 of Rain Dogs (March 8), S2 of Yellowjackets (March 24) and S4 of Succession (March 27).

Also new to the platform will be War of the Worlds (March 1), The Equalizer S2 (March 2), The Walking Dead S10c (March 4), Lucky Man S1-3 (March 12), Catfish UK (March 15), The Last Man S1-5 (March 23) and Guessable S1 (March 29).

Animated newcomers for kids will include Santiago of the Seas S1b (March 1), Kiri and Lou (March 8), Shimmer and Shine S3-4a (March 22) and Drama Club (March 25).

Leading the movie highlights are Elvis, Where the Crawdads Sing and Muru. Here’s the full movie slate for March:

  2. Chances this is how AMC will be monetising its content going forward, Trevor. Rather than stream it on AMC+, it sees a better return from licensing high profile series to the likes of Sky.

  3. Because AMC+ doesn’t have the full rights to all of S10 yet. S10B is still on Neon. I imagine that it will go up on AMC+ when Neon’s rights expire. Bigger question – will Neon have streaming rights to S11 after TVNZ’s run ends?

  4. I’m only keeping AMC+ because of The Walking Dead Universe shows if they are not going to be on there I may as well get rid of it. It’s so disappointing 🙄
