New to Neon in March

Belatedly debuting on Neon this month is the 2023 Timothy Spall true-crime drama series, The Sixth Commandment (March 27).

About an inspirational teacher whose involvement with a student triggers a complex criminal case, it won Spall a BAFTA TV award for best leading actor.

Anne Reid (Last Tango in Halifax) and Éanna Hardwicke (Normal People) co-star in a series based on the devastating true story of the gaslighting, abuse, and deaths of Peter Farquhar and Ann Moore-Martin in Buckinghamshire.

“As immaculate a piece of TV as you will ever see,” raved The Guardian.

“This true-crime tale of a predator poisoning two vulnerable victims is harrowing and intense – but it is impossible to look away.”

“This show is so harrowing it borders on unwatchable,” said The Australian. “It also might well be the best television drama of the year.”

Also new are Kiwi kidult mystery Secrets at Red Rocks (binge from March 9), Tish, an acclaimed documentary about Trish Murtha, who dedicated her life to photographing the working class of ’70s/’80s North East England (March 25), and:
