New to Neon in March

What We Do in the Shadows will shift locales from downtown Wellington to Staten Island when it’s resurrected as a series next month on Neon.

Starring Matt Berry (The IT Crowd), Kayvan Novak (Syriana), Natasia Demetriou (Year Friends) and Harvey Guillen (The Internship), the FX adaptation will stream weekly from March 28.

Reads the blurb:

You’re invited over to the house of the undead, home to vampires Nandor, Lazlo, and Nadja who’ve been living together for years. After an unexpected visit from their dark lord and leader, the vampires are reminded of what they were initially tasked with upon their arrival in Staten Island over a hundred years ago – total and complete domination of the New World. But what exactly is the best way to go about achieving said domination? A camera crew follows their daily (nightly) lives as the Staten Island coven set out to answer this query.

Streaming from March 21 will be another spinoff, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, and the Viceland series, Slutever.

The former will stream weekly whereas the latter is said to be a “humorous and eye-opening” documentary series that explores sexuality through the wit and observations of Vogue columnist, blogger, editor and author Karley Sciortino.

Also new will be seasons two of Making NZ (March 12), seven of Scandal (March 15), 3A of Into the Badlands (March 29) and two of Knightfall (March 31).

On the film front, Armando Iannucci (Veep) fans will be able to view The Death of Stalin in HD after its initial pay-TV run was in SD on the Rialto Channel.
