New to Neon in November

A drama series about the predatory relationship between a teacher and a student will steam on Neon the same day as the US.

A Teacher will debut with a triple episode on November 11, with weekly episodes thereafter.

It stars Kate Mara (Pose), Nick Robinson (Love, Simon), Ashley Zukerman (Succession), Shane Harper (Hightown) and Dylan Schmid (Snowpiercer).

Here’s the blurb:

Beautiful and quietly enigmatic, Claire is the newest teacher at Westerbrook High School. Dissatisfied in her marriage to her college sweetheart, distant from her brother and desperate for connection, she quickly befriends fellow teacher, Kathryn Sanders. Claire’s life changes when Eric, a charming all-American senior in her English class, asks for help preparing for his SAT test. Popular and outgoing, Eric is the captain of the soccer team and nearly inseparable from his best friends. As Claire and Eric begin to spend more time together, boundaries are crossed, and a subtle game of grooming begins. The permanent damage left in the wake of Claire’s choices becomes impossible for them, and their friends and family, to ignore.

New from November 5 will be seasons one and two of Light as a Feather.

An innocent game of ‘Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board’ goes wrong when the five teen girls who played start dying off in the exact way that was predicted, forcing the survivors to figure out why they’re being targeted – and whether the evil force hunting them down is one of their own.

Decider said the Hulu horror series “keeps viewers on their toes; that and the performances should keep you watching.”

Liana Liberato (If I Stay), Haley Ramm, Brianne Tju (47 Metres Down: Uncaged), Jordan Rodrigues (Home and Away) and Dylan Sprayberry (Teen Wolf) star.

Boomerang (S1-2 from November 23) is billed a subversive, smart, serialised comedy, fuelled by romance, friendship, gender politics, love and of course, sex.

Set 25 years after the original movie, it centres on the offspring of the main characters as they attempt to step out of their parents’ shadows and make their own mark on the world.

Tetona Jackson, Tequan Richmond, Leland B. Martin, and Lala Milan star.

Comedy Central’s The Other Two (November 19) is named after the stuck-in-a-rut adult siblings — one a wannabe actor, the other a professional dancer — of a 13-year-old who becomes an overnight pop star sensation.

Heléne Yorke (Katy Keene), Drew Tarver, Case Walker, Ken Marino (Black Monday) and Molly Shannon (Divorce) star.

Pasifika sketch comedy SIS, which was scheduled for October, will stream from November 19 while returning for new seasons will be The Good Doctor (weekly from November 3) and His Dark Marterials (weekly from November 17).
