New to Prime Video in August

The latest Harlan Coben dramatisation, Shelter, leads next month’s premieres on Prime Video.

It revolves around a teenager who, following the sudden death of his father, starts a new life in a small town, where he becomes entangled in the mysterious disappearance of a new student at his school.

Jaden Michael, Constance Zimmer, Abby Corrigan, Sage Linder and Lee Aaron Rosen star.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is a seven-part Australian drama about a nine-year-old orphan who goes to live on her grandmother’s flower farm, where she unearth secrets within secrets about her and her family’s past.

Sigourney Weaver, Frankie Adams and Asher Keddie star.

Red, White & Royal Blue is about the feud between the sons of the US President and a British prince that turns into a “special relationship” of its own after an altercation between the two provokes an international incident.

Taylor Zakhar Perez, Nicholas Galitzine, Stephen Fry and Uma Thurman star.

Anthology series Cruel Summer returns with a new cast and mystery revolving around a teenage love triangle in an idyllic waterfront town while The Guardian dubbed Three Mothers, Two Babies and a Scandal a “desperately compelling” three-part documentary about an international adoption scandal.

South Korean drama  The Killing Vote is “about tracking the ‘deviation’ of conducting a national death penalty vote for malicious criminals and executing the death penalty”.

And among the movies that will stream exclusively on Prime Video are Kandahar, the Gerard Butler thriller about a CIA agent on the run in Afghanistan, and odd-couple campus romance Beautiful Disaster.
