New to Prime Video in March

Prime Video today released the official Upload season two trailer ahead of its March 11 premiere.

Upload is a sci-fi comedy series from Emmy award-winning writer Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation), set in a technologically advanced future where hologram phones, 3D food printers and automated grocery stores are the norm.

Most uniquely, humans can choose to be “uploaded” into a virtual afterlife.

The seven new episodes find Nathan  at a crossroads in his (after) life: his ex-girlfriend Ingrid has unexpectedly arrived to Lakeview hoping to strengthen their relationship, but his heart still secretly yearns for his customer service angel Nora.

But she is off the grid and involved with the anti-tech rebel group “The Ludds.”

Prime Video says S2 is packed with new near-future concepts, including Lakeview’s newest in-app digital baby programme, called “prototykes,” and other satirical glimpses of the technological advances and headaches to come.

Also new to Prime Video next month will be S2 of Star Trek: Picard, erotic thriller Deep Water and Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, a new unscripted series following global superstar and icon Lizzo on her hunt for “confident, bad-ass women to join the elite ranks of the Big Grrrls and join her world tour”.

Also watch forThe Boys Presents: Diabiolical, an animated spin-off that “reveals unseen stories within The Boys universe”, and Amy Poehler’s Lucille Ball-Des Arnaz documentary, Lucy and Desi.
