New to Prime Video in May

A Gerard Butler thriller spearheads an unusually light month for premieres on Prime Video.

Plane (May 19) stars Butler as a pilot who’s forced to make a risky landing on a war-torn island.

When most of the passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels, he has to rely on an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI to mount a rescue.

Mike Colter, Yoson An, Daniella Pineda, Paul Ben-Victor, Remi Adeleke, Joey Slotnick, Evan Dane Taylor, Claro de los Reyes and Tony Goldwyn co-star.

Otherwise, there’s the return of James May: Oh Cook (May 24), part one of season 20 of Neighbours (May 18), a handful of stand-up specials, a slew of movies and two foreign-language TV drama series: Indonesian obscurity A+ and German fantasy Der Greif (both May 25).
