New to SoHo in May
Sky’s SoHo channels look more like Sky Box Sets next month, with only a handful of premieres peppered among library titles as old as Band of Brothers, The Borgias and Eastbound & Down.
There’s good news for Billions fans, with season five of the high-stakes drama due to debut May 7 on SoHo, where S2 of the excellent Australian drama, Mystery Road, will screen 8.30 Wednesdays from May 28.
Also new will be I Know This Much is True (SoHo, 8.30 Mondays from May 11) and Tell Me Your Secrets (SoHo2, 8.30 Wednesdays from May 27).
S5 of Billions opens with Bobby Axelrod and Chuck Rhoades reigniting their vicious rivalry while being targeted by new enemies and Wendy forging surprising new alliances.
New to the cast will be Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife) and Corey Stoll (Ant-Man): the former as a sociology professor and best-selling author, the latter as an Indiana billionaire who endangers Axelrod’s business.
The second six-part season of Mystery Road will screen here six weeks after its April 19 premiere in Australia.
Aaron Pederson returns as the cowboy booted-Detective Jay Swan, to investigate how a headless corpse wound up floating in the mangroves.
Mark Ruffalo plays twin brothers in I Know This Much is True, which was to have premiered last month, while Tell Me Your Secrets follows three characters with mysterious pasts: a young woman who came face to face with a serial killer, a former serial predator seeking redemption and a grieving mother obsessed with finding her daughter.

The Borgias. I’m assuming the 2011 version?
That’s right, Paul. It originally ran for three seasons on Three, back in the day when it was still airing premium drama. It’s pretty good and looks magnificent in HD.
