New to SoHo in November
Dublin Murders, an acclaimed BBC thriller that went to air this week in the UK, will premiere November 17 on SoHo.
The Guardian hailed the adaptation of the Tana French novels as “a breathless whodunnit with more dread by the minute” and The Telegraph, “an old-fashioned crime drama …. pitched somewhere between a Nordic noir and a classic episode of Cracker, this dark, intriguing series has already wormed its way under my skin.”
Reads the blurb for what sounds like a worthy successor to Line of Duty:
When a young girl is found murdered in a dense wood on the fringes of Dublin, Rob Reilly – a smart-suited cop whose English accent marks him as an outsider – is dispatched with his partner Cassie Maddox to investigate. Against his better judgement, he is savagely pulled back into another missing children case and his own past.
Protected by his intense friendship with Cassie, he plunges into darkness and a reckoning he never hoped to face. As the case intensifies, Rob and Cassie’s relationship is tested to breaking point, and when Cassie is sent undercover for another murder case she is forced to choose between her feelings and telling the truth.
Killian Scott (C.B. Strike), Sarah Greene (Penny Dreadful), Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (Peaky Blinders), Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones), Moe Dunford (Vikings), Sam Keeley (Misfits) and Antonio Aakeel (Skins) star.
Returning for their latest seasons will be Ray Donovan (8.30 Mondays from November 18), Britannia (9.30 Thursdays from November 5) and Shameless (8.30 Wednesdays from November 13).
Back for Box Set Saturdays will be Britannia (S1), The Hunting, Temple, Ray Donovan (S6), Mayans MC (S2) and The Deuce (S3).
