New to ThreeNow in June

A raft of returning series dominates ThreeNow’s premieres next month, including season six of All American.
The first five seasons, which have screened on Sky’s channels and Neon, will be available to stream when S6 launches on June 1.
Inspired by the life of US pro football player Spencer Paysinger, the series follows a rising high school football player from South LA who is recruited to play for Beverly Hills High, where the struggles of two families from vastly different worlds collide.
“The relationships at the centre of All American have definitely been fully seasoned and done changed radically since the series began way back in 2018,” Decider said. “And in its sixth instalment, some of that growth will find fruition.
“But it also sets up a leap into all of the unknowns and cast upheavals of All American Season 7.”

In S2 of Australian comedy Strife (June 8), the looming threat of a rival women’s website and the arrival of a nasty troll has Evelyn double-guessing her instincts right when she needs to be on her A game — and an investor to stay afloat.
“While the ‘relatability’ factor of Evelyn doesn’t quite cut it, the one-liners and wackiness throughout is tempered by more consequential matters, such as workplace diversity, social media and bodily autonomy,” said The Age.
Also back to binge are S2 of Boarders (June 20), which has a new headmistress at the helm, S3 of Alert: Missing Persons Unit (June 22) and 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days S5-6 (June 6).
Six Schizophrenic Brothers (June 27) is named after America’s “most mentally ill family” — six of the 12 siblings have schizophrenia — while Expedition From Hell: The Lost Tapes (June 13) has a former military demolition expert conning a bunch of wannabe survivalists into going on a nearly impossible journey through the heart of one of the wildest corners of South America.

Streaming the same time they go to air on Three are:
- Budget Battlers, which tackles full-home makeovers with an unprecedented challenge: completely renovate a home from top to bottom in under a week, on a $10,000 budget (the Sydney Morning Herald dubbed it “The Block rebooted for budget builders”)
- Into the Jungle with Ed Stafford, in which the international explorer leads six vulnerable dads and their kids to the jungles of Belize to see if the challenging environment can build strong relationships (“awful to witness,” said The Guardian)
- Do You Want to Live Forever? is a four-part Australian docuseries about the extraordinary advances in medicine and science that are just a few years away from defeating the worst ravages of ageing.

I see CNN FAST has rebranded to CNN Headlines on the ThreeNow app, is there a reason for this change Philip? Are there anymore FAST channels being added to their increasing number of channels? — Leo.
It may just be a streamlining of CNN branding, Leo. Last year CNN launched an Originals FAST channel in the US, so perhaps that’s in the pipeline for here and they want a clearer distinction between the two. I don’t know of any other FAST channels pending but WBoften doesn’t share this info until the channels have launched.

Cheers Philip for the reply, let’s hope there are some exciting channels in the pipeline. — Leo.
If there are, Leo, WBD isn’t saying so. Will post an update but essentially no new channels to report.
