New to TVNZ+: June 15-21

It’s a big week for sport on TVNZ+, with live coverage of  the 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship and a 2023 docuseries about a Queensland team’s inaugural NRL season.

Dawn of the Dolphins (June 15) follows legendary supercoach Wayne Bennett and the Queensland-based Dolphins as they prepare to transition from a community club to the big league.

  • Get Home, in which Emmy -winner Tweedie Waititi, musician Rob Ruha and renowned photographer Erica Sinclair gather tr with their cousins on the coast
  • Tipua, an animated mysterious and mystical journey
  • Homesteads, which uncovers the stories of seven papa kāinga through the eyes of the ahi kā that occupy them.

Kid Sister returns for a second season of comedy about identity, relationships and authenticity (June 17) while every episode of parenthood comedy Up All Night can be streamed from June 18.

The latest AMC+ series to be licensed to TVNZ+ is The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula (June 21), in which drag artists compete for the title of “The World’s Next Drag Supermonster”.
