New to TVNZ+: March 15-21

The first two seasons of Getting Filthy Rich, an award-winning series about the commoditisation of sexuality, stream from March 15.

Reads the blurb: “From monetising thirst-traps to producing homemade porn, more and more people are selling sexuality in an attempt to get rich quick. Olivia Attwood lifts the lid on this booming industry to find out if these entrepreneurs really are making easy money.”

The first series won the Broadcast award for best popular factual programme in 2023 and earned the Love Island alumna praise for drawing on her experience as a model and grid girl to explore the world of selling sex online, without judgement or prejudice.

“Attwood’s total immersion in investigating what it is like to be an OnlyFans model, cam girl, porn star and sugar baby extends to setting up her own OnlyFans account,” Broadcast magazine said.

“The authentic emotional highs and lows give the series a strong anchor for each episode, besides delivering shocking moments alongside intimate interviews with contributors.”

The judges called her a “great talent who has some real moments of revelation about morality vs money, power vs empowerment and the patriarchy” and the production “nicely shot and absolutely not sleazy … It feels like real access inside her life, not a clichéd, fake format.”

Leaving Neverland II: Surviving Michael Jackson (March 19) documents the second stage of Wade Robson and James Safechuck’s quest for justice as well as the fallout and backlash from sharing their stories six years earlier in Leaving Neverland.

It streams within hours of its Channel 4 premiere.

Also new, from March 15, are season three of SkyMed (March 15) and the movies:

• Joy Ride
• Widows
• Tigerland
• Black Knight
• Juniper
• Pilgrimage

Adding to its extensive cricket and football coverage is TVNZ+ exclusive LIV Golf, which concludes its Singapore leg from 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.
