New to TVNZ OnDemand in January
A troubled sci-fi conspiracy thriller about a virus that could cure disease or wipe out the human race will stream on TVNZ OnDemand from January 15.
Variety reports The Passage was meant to launch as part of Fox’s 2018 fall season slate but had to undergo reshoots with a new director after “the original pilot came in below expectations at the network”.
The Ridley Scott production also lost three characters and three new characters were “reconceived”.
Fox is globally rolling out the series, which boasts a radical new take on vampirism, from mid-January.
Also new next month OnDemand will be Sir David Attenborough’s latest, Dynasties, UFO drama Project Blue Book (which Variety says “bears more than a passing resemblance to The X-Files“) and full seasons of The Catherine Tate Show.
