Disney+ has released an evocative poster and trailer for its irreverent, high-octane thriller Eenie Meanie, which premieres August 22.
The original movie, from 20th Century Fox Studios, stars Ready or Not’s Samara Weaving as a former teenage getaway driver who is dragged back into her unsavoury past when she’s offered the chance to save the life of her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend.
Written and directed by Shawn Simmons (The Continental: From the World of John Wick), it co-stars Karl Glusman, Jermaine Fowler, Marshawn Lynch, Randall Park, Steve Zahn and Andy Garcia.
Prime Video has released the official trailer for action-drama prequel, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.
An origin story for spy thriller The Terminal List, it stars Taylor Kitsch as Ben Edwards on his progression from Navy SEAL to CIA operative.
The first three episodes launch on August 27, with new episodes following weekly until the season finale on September 24.
My wife’s not impressed with Disney+ at present in that they’ve blocked NZ viewers from watching season 21 of Project Runway after they said it was on the platform. No one in NZ has shown it here for about 13 years so what gives? Back to channel internet again and hoist the Jolly Roger. — Paul W.
