Premiere: The Real Housewives of Auckland (TV3, 8.30) Would have thought that this would be on Bravo?

  2. Yes, it will be. MediaWorks wants to launch it to broad an audience as possible, hence the TV3 premiere. Thereafter it will air 8.30 Tuesdays on Bravo, which desperately needs a local hit to boost its ratings/sampling.

  3. Has the Michael McIntyre show been cancelled or taken off air? We only saw about 4 or 5 episodes.

  4. TV3 has taken Michael McIntyre’s Big Show off-air but says it will resurface in primetime later this year.

  5. Was utterly the wrong slot for it. Too easy to switch off a show like that midway through it, especially on a Sunday at 9:30 when people have work the next day. Crime procedurals suit that slot best, remember Criminal Intent working well off the back of CSI around 04/05. (When TV3 took a leap of faith by being the first network to abandon Sunday night movies – One was still showing Sunday Theatre at this point). Boy I’ve digressed … anyway.

  6. The 9.30 time didn’t worry me. We always recorded this show and watched it on Monday evenings. Hopefully it will return to our screens in the not too distant future.
