HD Ratings: Our Big Blue a Big Hit

TVNZ 1’s natural history hit, Our Big Blue Backyard, continues to dominate Sunday night ratings. 

This week’s season finale was tops with two of the network’s core commercial demographics, 25-54 and 18-49 year-olds, and ranked second with all viewers aged five-plus.

TVNZ 1’s Victoria is also holding firm after a slow start and finished in the top five of these three demos, out-rating TVNZ 2’s Lethal Weapon in the 25-54 and 5+ races.

Prime’s Midsomer Murders is struggling with the channel’s target 25-54 audience — Sunday’s ep averaged only 0.6% — but topped TV3’s line-up in the 5+ stakes.

It was an exceptionally strong Sunday showing for TVNZ 1, with the network winning the night in all the major demos.
