Paddy Gower Returns with Gripping New Season of Paddy Gower Has Issues

Tuesday, August 19th 2025 – Well-known New Zealand journalist, Paddy Gower, returns tonight for another season of the multi-award-winning current affairs programme, Paddy Gower Has Issues with an exclusive interview with Rozzie Phillips, the sibling of missing Marokopa father, Tom Phillips.

Missing since 2021, with his three children, Jayda, Ember and Maverick, no one has been able to locate Phillips, despite extensive searching.

Now, as the family remains missing for a fourth year, Gower and fellow journalist Tony Wall have secured an exclusive interview with Phillips’ sister Rozzie, who hopes that her brother will hear her and her family’s pleas and hand himself in.

When asked why she has come forward after all this time, Rozzie Phillips had this to say:

In the hopes that just maybe, he’s going to see this. And maybe, he’s going to see that that he can come home; and that we are here for him and that it might just be ok. There’s a lot of love and a lot of support and we’re ready to help you walk through what you need to walk through.

Meanwhile, Paddy’s offsider, Karen O’Leary, digs deep into the ongoing saga of the cost of butter and has some revelations of her own about the everyday product that has soared in price over the last year, to an extent that many in New Zealand can no longer afford it.

Over the coming eight episodes of Paddy Gower Has Issues, Paddy connects with some of New Zealand’s most successful and best-known journalists.
