Panasonic’s First 3D Projector Due 3Q

Traditionally Panasonic overhauls its home cinema projector range annually.
But this year the 1080p model, the AE4000E, will have a shelf life of two years.
It came out in late 2009 and will continue to be the company’s consumer flagship until the third quarter, when Panasonic will launch two 1080p successors and discontinue its 720p option.
“Our line-up for next year is not yet fixed,” Panasonic’s product sales manager display systems, Taran Wiseman, told ScreenScribe.tv.
“However, we believe that there will be two new 1080p home cinema projectors released September-October 2011.
“Specs have not been finalised but one will replace the AE4000E and one will be a new model. There will be no replacement for the AX200. The higher-end model will also be 3D-capable.”
A commercial 1080p model is planned for February 2012.

Will the new 3D 1080p projector use LCOS or DLP panels as I was given to understand that LCD has bad ghosting problem in 3D?
