Prime Video to Stream Watergate Drama
Prime Video will stream the acclaimed Watergate drama Gaslit from September 16.
All eight episodes of the series inspired by season one of the podcast Slow Burn will drop at once.
It stars Julia Roberts as Martha Mitchell, the wife of the Attorney General John Mitchell, who blew the whistle on President Nixon’s involvement in the scandal that first hit the headlines 50 years ago.
Rotten Tomatoes hailed it as “less a slow burn than an acting extravaganza of big personalities enmeshed in historic scandal”.
Gaslit averaged a 90% critics’ rating based on 52 reviews, which ranged from “very good, very watchable” (The Guardian) to “fitfully amusing, but wildly uneven” (The Hollywood Reporter).
The series co-stars Sean Penn, Dan Stevens, Betty Gilpin and Shea Whigham, and first streamed internationally on Starz platforms in April.

Speaking of Prime Video it’s wonderful having all 10 seasons of Smallville. I’m rewatching it at moment in HD, it’s looks awesome especially compared with the DVD ?
