Ratings Hike for Tracked
Three’s local outdoor pursuit series Tracked rebounded on Tuesday, when it delivered its highest 25-54 rating since launch.
The show that The Spinoff dubbed “completely ridiculous and utterly riveting” averaged 3.15% of the key commercial demographic for a 19.60 share or 64,657 adults.
Episode four still lost to TVNZ 2’s MasterChef Australia (4.42 rating/24.60 share) but pipped TVNZ 1’s Moving Houses (3.06 rating/18.17 share).
At 8.30, TVNZ 1’s I Am averaged a 2.40 rating/20.56 share to top TVNZ 2’s CSI: Vegas and Three’s Kitchen Nightmares (Australia), which were separated by just 292 viewers.
Hunted won the 9.30 hour for TVNZ 2 (1.50 rating/19.54 share), beating both TVNZ 1’s Coronation Street and Three’s Demolition Down Under.
Earlier Three’s The Project notched up a rare 25-54 win over TVNZ 1’s Seven Sharp: 3.75 rating/22.39 share vs 3.57 rating/19.62 share; TVNZ 2’s Shortland Street easily led both, with a 4.66 rating/24.46 share.
The night’s top 10 programmes for viewers aged 25-54 were: 1 News, The Chase (part 2), Shortland Street, Newshub Live at 6pm, MasterChef Australia, The Project, Seven Sharp, Tracked, Moving Houses and The Chase (part 1).
The night’s highest peak shares were: TVNZ 1, 28.74; Three, 20.51; TVNZ 2, 20.01; Duke, 3.74; Bravo, 2.99; Rush, 2.53; and Prime, 2.02.
