Reacher Trailer Heralds S2
Season two of Prime Video’s Reacher will stream from December 15.
The first three episodes will drop on that day and the remaining five will roll out weekly.
S2 is based on Bad Luck and Trouble, the 11th book in Lee Child’s series. Reads the blurb:
Reacher S2 begins when veteran military police investigator Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) receives a coded message that the members of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations, are being mysteriously and brutally murdered one by one.
Pulled from his drifter lifestyle, Reacher reunites with three of his former teammates turned chosen family to investigate, including Frances Neagley (Maria Sten); Karla Dixon (Serinda Swan), a forensic accountant for whom Reacher has long had a soft spot; and fast-talking, switchblade-wielding family man David O’Donnell (Shaun Sipos).
Together, they begin to connect the dots in a mystery where the stakes get higher at every turn, and that brings about questions of who has betrayed them—and who will die next. Using his inimitable blend of smarts and size, Reacher will stop at nothing to uncover the truth and protect the members of his unit. If there’s one thing Reacher and his team know for certain, it’s that you do not mess with the Special Investigators.
Disney+ today released the official trailer for The Artful Dodger, the eight-part Dickensian spin-off from Oliver Twist that can be binged from November 29.
It relocates Jack Dawkins and Fagin to 1850s Australia with a cast that includes Thomas Brodie-Sangster, David Thewlis and Kiwi Albert Latailakepa.
And launching on Apple TV+ is the action-comedy, The Family Plan, in which a suburban dad who used to be an elite government assassin is tracked down by decades-old enemies.
The movie premieres on December 15 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti, Van Crosby, Saïd Taghmaoui, Maggie Q and Ciarán Hinds.
Also new to Apple TV+, from November 22, is the special, The Velveteen Rabbit, a live action-animated adaptation of Margery Williams’ book about a Christmas toy that unlocks a world of magic and lifelong friendship for a seven-year-old boy.
It features the voices of Helena Bonham-Carter, Nicola Coughlan, Alex Lawther, Paterson Joseph, Clive Rowe and Bethany Antonia.

Season 1 was surprisingly good, S2 looks to have even more action. The Tom Cruise films are long forgotten. 😀
