Ready to Binge: Ride or Die, The Bear S5

Prime Video will stream the full season of action-comedy Ride or Die from July 15 (here’s the trailer).

A Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios production, the eight-part series stars Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham.

They play best friends Debbie Claybourne (Spencer) and Judith Burton (Waddingham) who thought they knew everything about each other — except Judith turns out to be an international assassin. Reads the blurb:

When a mysterious figure emerges from Judith’s past and a hit goes horribly wrong, both of their worlds are turned upside down as they’re forced to go on the run together. It’s a race against time and a road trip across Europe, with law enforcement, highly trained assassins, and some very dangerous criminals at their heels.

Ed Skrein, Calam Lynch, Savannah Steyn, Jamie Parker, Jacky Ido,  Sylvia Hoeks and Bill Nighy co-star.

Disney+ today released the trailer for the fifth and final season of The Bear.

It picks up the morning after Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto (Abby Elliott) discover that Chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) has quit the food industry, leaving the restaurant to them — amid the threats of a sale and a torrential storm that could wipe out their chance to earn a Michelin star.

All eight episodes can be binged from June 26.
