Here’s the official trailer for the Disney+ Original, The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox.
The limited series will premiere with a double-episode on August 20, with weekly episodes to follow.
“Inspired” by how Amanda Knox was wrongfully convicted for the tragic murder of her roommate, Meredith Kercher, and her epic effort to clear her name, it stars Tell Me Lies’ Grace Van Patten, Sharon Horgan and Roberta Mattei.
Monica Lewinsky is among the producers.
Apple Original Films has unveiled the trailer and key art for the Paul Greengrass-directed thriller The Lost Bus.
It will stream from October 3 following its its world premiere as a Special Presentation at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Also inspired by real events, it’s billed as “a white-knuckle ride through one of America’s deadliest wildfires, as a wayward school bus driver (Matthew McConaughey) and a dedicated school teacher (America Ferrera) battle to save 22 children from the terrifying inferno”.
Written by Greengrass and Brad Inglesby, it’s based on Lizzie Johnson’s book, Paradise: One Town’s Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire.
Wow! The Lost Bus trailer is intense! It looks incredible! — Brian.
Yep! Apple commissions fantastic content. Just finished S2 of Bad Sisters and really enjoying Smoke. Slow Horses is untouchable, Disclaimer was great, and Your Friends & Neighbors pretty good. Also loved Killers of the Flower Moon and starting this weekend is Chief of War.
Don’t forget Shrinking! Amazing show! — Brian.
On your recommendation, will give it another shot. Was underwhelmed by first couple of eps and disappointed in Harrison Ford’s performance.
OMG Harrison Ford is wonderful! And recognised with a well deserved Emmy nomination this year. Do let me know what you think. — Brian.
Quite agree the Emmy nod is well deserved — it just should have been for 1923!
