TVNZ Sales reports unprecedented streaming gains in June and July.
“June 2024 was the highest reaching and most streamed month in TVNZ+ history, until July blew it out of the water!” the broadcaster told clients.
“Last month TVNZ+ reached 1.42 million unique profiles (+11% MoM) and our content was streamed over 51 million times (+16% MoM).”
The 10 biggest crowdpleasers were EURO 2024, 1 News at 6pm, Wimbledon tennis, Love Island, Mary & George, Shortland Street, MasterChef Australia, The Rookie, NZ’s Best Homes with Phil Spencer and Colin From Accounts.
WBD – big miss, huge writedowns but massive streaming additions (House of the Dragon 2). Disney – price rises across the board for its streaming products and streaming turned profitable but for how long? (WBD’s Max profitability was shortlived).
