TVNZ 2 will replace Wednesday night re-runs of Renters with 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Renters was scheduled to bridge MKR: The Rivals and Selling Houses Australia on July 15 and 22. It will continue to re-run Friday nights after the original 8 Out of 10 Cats, as lead-out Naked Attractions can’t air earlier than 9.30 because of its adults-only content.

Prime is revising its weeknight schedule to add SkySpeed (6.00 Wednesdays) and 1st XV Rugby Revision (6.00 Thursdays). The previously scheduled Storage Hunters now will air for only half-an-hour from 6.30 on those nights.

On this weekend’s Sunday (TVNZ 1, 7.30): Kylee Guy pays tribute to her murdered husband Scott and explains why she’s determined to find his killer; and the case of Madeleine McCann continues with a new suspect.

On Sunday’s 60 Minutes (Prime. 11.30), Norah O’Donnell reports on the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on automakers Ford and GM, and their transformation from making cars to making ventilators and other medical supplies.

Now that our borders are closed, Monday’s Fair Go (TVNZ 1, 7.30) will ask what makes a home, home? It will also examine if financial options such as ‘AfterPay’ and ‘Oxipay’ are a help or a hindrance.

Tuesday’s 20/20 (TVNZ 1, 9.30) documents the ‘Long Island Lolita’ story through the eyes of Mary Jo and Joey Buttafuoco, and their daughter Jessie, just nine-years-old at the time of the attempted assassination in May 1992.

TVNZ 1’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show will showcase a week of compilation specials: the most inspiring guests (Monday); the best moments of quarantine (Tuesday); the best of Ellen’s kids (Wednesday); the best of Lassner (Thursday); and Ellen’s favourite clips from Ellentube (Friday).

Appearing next week on Prime’s The Late Show With Stephen Colbert will be:
