Schedule Watch: August 31

SoHo has amended its scheduling of two 9/11 documentariesIn the Shadow of The Towers: Stuyvesant High on 9/11 and What Happened on September 11. They were due to air here on September 11 but now will screen September 12 — effectively the same commemorative day they bow on HBO.

Attention train spotters: TVNZ 1 is switching around the order of World’s Busiest Train Stations (8.40 Wednesdays). This week’s episode, officially the third in the series (Melbourne), will pre-empt episode two (Calcutta) and ep 4 (Zurich) will air September 11. The Calcutta ep will screen September 18.

Prime is pre-empting this weekend’s 1st XV Rugby for the final of the Hurricanes Regional Final, Palmerston North Boys High vs Hastings Boys High (2.30 Sunday) and Monday’s Inside the PGA Tour (6.00) for ICC Cricket 360.

This weekend’s Sunday (TVNZ 1, 7.30) look at ways to keep Kiwi kids healthy and loving their sport, as a result of ACC figures revealing an increase of injuries. And interviews Hinewehi Mohi and Nek Minnit star Levi Hawken.

On Sunday’s 60 Minutes (Prime, 10.30): Scott Pelley reports on Ryan Speedo Green, who is now heard by many as an international opera star, and Bill Whitaker tags along on a shoot with National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore.

Monday’s Fair Go (TVNZ 1, 7.30) investigates the not-so-straightforward ‘Innocent Party’ insurance policy, fake tanning that fails to deliver for customers, and if Weetbix has changed.

Tuesday’s 20/20 (TVNZ 1, 9.30) interviews podcast Truth & Justice creator Bob Ruff over the potential wrongful conviction of Sandra Melgar for the murder of Jim Melgar and his search for due process with her family.
