Prime will screen live overnight coverage of the showdown between the Silver Ferns and Australia, in the final of the Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 in Liverpool, from 3.15am tomorrow. Replays of both the Bronze Medal Match and the final will screen 7am and 9am tomorrow respectively.
On tonight’s 60 Minutes (Prime, 10.00), Bill Whitaker interviews former soldiers who dispute an official report on a friendly fire, and Jon Wertheim tells the story of a veteran meeting the daughter of the Japanese soldier he killed.
Monday’s Fair Go (TVNZ 1, 7.30) investigates if subliminal messaging really works in advertising, and the truth and legality behind “opting out” of marketing text messages.
Tuesday’s 20/20 (TVNZ 1, 9.30) presents an in-depth retrospective on the infamous ‘PTL’ scandal and Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker, the televangelist couple who evoked a divine, but predatory, movement from it.
