Schedule Watch: May 13

Prime has pulled tonight’s 9.30 broadcast of A Very British Brothel.

It’s being replaced by a new season of Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords, which is starting a week earlier than scheduled.

The peak-hour programming of A Very British Brothel was always strange, given Channel 4 screened the dated documentary strand in 2015 and 2017.

Apparently the pre-emption is due to a delivery issue. No word yet on when it will resurface.

Meanwhile, appearing on tonight’s Have You Been Paying Attention? At Home (TVNZ 2, 8.30) are Eli Matthewson, Laura Daniel and Pax Assadi.

And this weekend’s Sunday (TVNZ 1, 7.30 Sunday) catches up with zoo keepers and animals during the lockdowns, interviews new All Black captain Sam Cane, and asks if complacency could lead to a second wave of COVID-19.

In other scheduling updates:

  • TVNZ 2 has delayed the return of Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back until June 1; double-eps of Booze Patrol will continue to air 8.45 Mondays until then.
  • TVNZ 1 will resume 1 News Tonight from Monday — since the COVID-19 lockdowns, the network has aired late-night re-runs of Seven Sharp to free up resources for daily news coverage of the pandemic
  • Another COVID-19 programming casualty, Fair Go, will return on June 1 (TVNZ 1, 7.30 Mondays)
  • Three will screen a Newshub Nation Budget Special from 2.00-3.00 on Thursday; TVNZ 1’s 1 News Budget Special will air from 2.00-4.00.
