Schedule Watch: September 27

TVNZ 2 is pulling the new season of The Undateables from its October 10 slot. It will be replaced by The Best of Travel Guides Australia. No word on when season nine of The Undateables, which aired this time last year in the UK, will resurface.

Kiwi Rose Matafeo will appear in the October 10 broadcast of Taskmaster (Duke, 8.30). TVNZ 2 has commissioned a NZ version of this series, with NZ On Air contributing $735,000 to the Kevin & Co production.

TVNZ 2 is pre-empting Saturday’s repeats of The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon for 1 News at 6pm. The same bulletin will air an hour later on TVNZ 1; it’s being delayed because of Rugby World Cup coverage.

Prime pre-emptions: ICC Cricket 360 will replace Inside the PGA (6.00 Monday), and the latter will usurp Thursday’s 11pm re-run of The Crowd Goes Wild.

This weekend’s Sunday (TVNZ 1, 7.30) brings the kids demanding action on climate change face to face with the companies they claim are threatening our future.

Appearing on this week’s Real Time With Bill Maher (SoHo/SoHo2, various times) are:
