Sick Note for Sky
Sky’s Box Sets channel will screen season one of the new Nick Frost comedy series, Sick Note, on November 23.
The Shaun of the Dead star plays a doctor whose patient, Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint, is mis-diagnosed with cancer.
Having lost his job and his girlfriend, the seemingly doomed insurance worker suddenly finds himself being treated better by everyone he knows as they try to make his last days fun and enjoyable.
The dilemma is: once he finds out he isn’t dying, should he reveal the mistake and risk going back to the grind?

SBS will fast-track the first six episodes from the UK, where Sky Atlantic will launch it next month.
Its confidence in Sick Note is so high that it’s already commissioned a second, eight-part season that will feature Lindsay Lohan as the daughter of Grint’s boss (Don Johnson).
