Sky Open has added delayed coverage of two A-League football matches this weekend.
On Friday, the men’s semi-final between Auckland FC and Adelaide United will air from 9.30, pre-empting Red Stag Timber Hunters Club, Not Even, Grand Crew and We Are Lady Parts.
On Saturday, the women’s final between Wellington Phoenix and Melbourne City will air from 6.05 (it airs live on Sky Sport 2 from 5.30).
The late addition pre-empts live-to-delayed coverage of the NRL game between the Roosters and Cowboys.
Instead, Sky Open will screen live-to-delayed coverage of the Eels v Storm encounter from 9.30 instead of the movie Family Business.
Based on kick off times it looks like both games will be live on Sky Open, which is great news for football fans in NZ. — Stewart Robson.
Initially, yes, but because of free-to-air advertising, Sky Open’s coverage will evolve from live to delayed.
