Sky Open Pulls Friday Night Laughs

After scheduling an impressive line-up of Friday night laughs, with double-episodes of Ballers leading into The Baby and The Righteous Gemstones, Sky Open has suddenly pulled all three HBO comedy series.
They were meant to screen from tonight but this afternoon Sky Open advised the movie American Assassin will air at 9.35, season two of Territory Cops at 11.50 and The Food Crisis at 12.20am.
No explanation was provided for the change but presumably, given the abrupt rescheduling, it’s a licensing issue.
Hi Phil, while on the licensing topic I noticed ThreeNow has pulled all movies – with the exception of MovieSphere fast channel. Prep being done for a Max launch perhaps? (Just speculation on my part.) — Gerard.
Thanks, Gerard, will check it out next week.
There are the same paltry number of movies listed (eight) consistent with the last few months (like when I criticised the movie offering on 6 August (ten)). — Mike.
