Sky Scores Global Soccer Coup
Sky today confirmed the Copa América Centenario 2016 will screen live next month on a pop up channel.
Sixteen nations, including Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Columbia, will compete in the 100th year of the oldest international continental competition.
Stars like Lionel Messi, James Rodriguez, Edinson Cavani and Chicharito will turn out for their national sides in 10 different US cities.
It will be the first Copa America tournament to be hosted outside South America.
“The excitement and drama of the Copa America tournament further complements an already superb month of footballing coverage on Sky Sport,” Sky’s director of sport, Richard Last, says.
“The brightest stars in world football are aligned for Sky Sport customers to witness the skill, flair and passion, as the giants of the game collide.”
All 32 matches will air live on channel 057 and highlights on Sky Sport.
