Sky Scores Kiwi-Strong Indian Cricket League

This is not an April fool’s joke — Sky will screen coverage of Tata Indian Premier League cricket from Saturday.

Here’s the media release:

Sky secures the Tata IPL for the 2023 season

There’s nothing quite as exhilarating as the Tata Indian Premier League, the world’s biggest cricketing league, especially when the teams are stacked with nine of New Zealand’s most exciting male players including ‘Captain Kane’.

With action kicking off April 1, it’s time fans locked in their viewing schedule across Sky Sport and Sky Sport Now.

With 74 of some of the most explosive T20 matches, there are plenty of fastballs and sky-high sixes for every night owl or early riser with the opportunity to catch up on demand at a time to suit.

Get ready to rumble from Saturday 1 April. Just as well the end of Daylight Savings and the Easter holidays are on their way as there’s so much sport on offer on Sky Sport, and fans might just need a lie in to cope with a veritable feast.
