Sky Sport Update: April 14 – 20

A new show about the Vodafone Warriors will be revealed 7.00 Thursday on Sky Sport 4.

The announcement will include an interview with CEO Cameron George.

Other highlights on Sky Sport this week include:

Agustin Pichot | SS1, 8.30 tonight

In a 90-minute special Breakdown special Agustín Pichot lets the world know about his plans for world rugby as he goes up against Bill Beaumont. With so much up in the air right now and a huge desire to grow the game, this will be pretty compelling viewing. Our panel of Jeff Wilson, Bernadine Oliver-Kerby, Sir John Kirwan and Mils Muliaina will also dig deep with Rob Nichol and Sam Cane to discuss how the players are dealing with the lockdown and not playing and how Andy Ellis May have been forced into retirement. The team also discusses how the Japanese rugby world is dealing with the global pandemic.

Max Verstappen | SS5, 8.00 Wednesday

The inaugural Supercars All Stars Eseries started with a roar with more than 12,000 Kiwis tuning in on Sky Sport 5. This week sees Max Verstappen F1 driver, as a wildcard entry.  Can he adjust (virtually) to a whole new discipline? He’ll join eStars McLaughlin and SDVG.  The Kiwis are surely setting the pace. Follows an hour’s extra build-up with qualifying from 8.00.

Netball ISO-Zone | SS3, 8.30 Wednesday

Netball ISO-Zone is up and running alongside NETFIT – bringing you all the news you crave and a look inside the lives and training regimes of our top netballers. The NETFIT NZ programme is live on Sky Sport 3 from 1-3pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and also available through www.netfitnetball.com. The sessions are led by former Silver Fern Courtney Tairi and current Silver Fern Laura Langman.
