Sky Sport Update: May 18 – 24

Sky Sport’s highlights for the week include Dr Ashley Bloomfield on Breakdown, the return of live NASCAR and the inside running on the Warriors’ preparations for their opening game.

Breakdown (Sky Sport 1, 8.30 Tuesday): Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield was a handy rugby player in his day. He joins the Breakdown team along with Grant Robertson, Minister for Sport and Recreation, Crusaders coach Scott Robinson and Blues skipper Patrick Tuipulotu.

NASCAR (Sky Sport 5, 11.30am Thursday): Live from Darlington, USA.

Sky Sport Presents The Pod (Sky Sport 3, 8.30 Thursday): Former All Blacks skipper Kieran Read joins sportscaster Tony Johnson to talk though his career, COVID and Cane.

Warriors TV (Sky Sport 4, 7.00 Thursday): Inside the camp with the Vodafone Warriors as they battle injuries and prepare for their opening (round 3) match on May 30.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport’s announced an exclusive tennis tournament, NZ Premier League Tennis, which will screen live from June 3 (112 games, singles and doubles), and a short season of premier badminton (singles and doubles) from mid-June.
