Sky’s the Limit for FIFA HD

Sky has announced it will screen all 64 FIFA World Cup matches in HD.

As well as showing every game live, the satcaster will air a daily 90-minute HD highlights package.

And each of the All Whites matches will be preceded by a half-hour studio show that football pundit Dennis Katsanos will host.

A behind-the-scenes special about the staging of the event, from June 11-July 11, FIFA World Cup: Inside Africa, will screen sporadically in HD, depending if it’s screening on Sky Sports 1 or 2 or the SD-only Sky Sports 3.

Meanwhile, TV One will broadcast 11 games live in HD, including the opening ceremony and opening match, all of the All Whites games, one second-round game, two quarter-finals, both semifinals, 3rd v 4th play-off and the final.
