Sneak Peek of Samsung’s New 3DTV

Samsung’s first 3DTV also will be one of the first HDTVs to support Dolby Digital Plus and DTS sound, according to a CNET Asia preview of the 8000 series.

Samsung demonstrated the stunning, “silver-brushed” new range to Asian media last week and is expected to release essentially the same gear here within the next few months.

CNET Asia reports Samsung will be bundling 3D Blu-ray discs of Monsters vs Aliens but any hope of Panasonic doing likewise with Avatar for its 3D launch has been dashed by 20th Century Fox telling the Wall Street Journal that the James Cameron blocbuster won’t be out on 3D Blu-ray until 2011.
