Sony Green Lights New Blu-ray Players for April

Sony will launch three Blu-ray players in April with a faster loading optical drive that’s fully enclosed for improved stability. The new models also will sport the “Sense of Quartz” styling that will be a feature of Sony’s Ultra HD TV range. Two of the models —  BDP-S3100 and BDP-S5100 — will offer Sony’s TV SideView app for accessing online services, social networking and even turning your tablet or smartphone into a remote control. They will also boast better Wi-Fi reception than previous models to strengthen streaming of services like QuickFlix, which today announced it soon will be available on LG TVs and Blu-ray players.
