Samsung’s new Soundbar range revolutionises surround sound
AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND (15 April) – Samsung Electronics New Zealand has today announced the local availability of its most impressive and extensive range of soundbars, featuring an extended Dolby Atmos line-up and new innovations that will create true cinematic surround sound experiences at home.
The introduction of True Dolby Atmos & DTS:X with 11.1.4ch surround sound to the flagship Q-Series Soundbars is a first of its kind and fills your room with cinematic sound by incorporating 11 channels, one subwoofer channel and four up-firing channels.
“High quality audio is key to a fantastic overall viewing experience, which Kiwis can expect to see in the 2021 line-up from Samsung. Our commitment to innovation is showcased with the new audio advancements that take the sound quality to an all-time high,” says Jens Anders, Director Consumer Electronics at Samsung New Zealand.
“Offering the ultimate immersive audio experience at home, the Q950A, engineered by Samsung’s Audio Lab is the perfect match for our new Neo QLED TV range providing Dolby Atmos Rear Speakers, Spacefit Sound+ and Samsung’s Q-Symphony.”
For a more customised sound experience, SpaceFit Sound+ tailors your TV and compatible soundbar settings, ensuring the sound is always optimised for the room, by constantly testing reverberations.
Q-Symphony uniquely allows TV and Soundbar speakers to operate simultaneously for better surround effect without muting TV speakers, redefining the sound experience. Working together, Q-Symphony and SpaceFit Sound+ deliver a synchronised sound experience.
“Samsung understands that sound integration and synergy between TVs and soundbars is a key factor sought after by Kiwis. Through the innovative Q-Symphony and SpaceFit Sound+, the new soundbar range takes immersive audio experiences to the next level through total sound collaboration,” says Anders.
At the more accessible end of the range, the A-Series soundbars offer more powerful enhanced sound with upgraded power output in addition to a new Bass Boost Mode feature, providing users the choice to amplify the level of bass to provide a more immersive sound experience.
The upgraded S-Series also features a dedicated centre speaker and side-firing Horn Speakers for immersive and wide sound experience for users to enjoy their favourite music and movie content.
The 2021 Soundbar range will be available starting from $449.95 at selected retailers and online. For more information on the range, visit samsung.com.
