ThreeNow Tests FAST Movies

Good news for free-to-stream movie fans: ThreeNow at last is testing its long awaited MovieSphere service, which suggests its FAST channel launch is imminent.

The development follows the Warner Bros. Discovery platform adding FAST channels like West Family Saga, Deadliest Catch and Motor Heads to its initial line-up of Realty, True Crime, Paranormal, House Hunters and 90 Day Fiance.

MovieSphere is a Lionsgate channel that bills itself as “the place to find blockbuster hits to indie favourites and everything in between” — which is a pretty broad remit and another way of saying expect obscurities to abound.

Among the movies being tested are The Artist, Last Chance Harvey, P.S. I Love You and Collision Earth.

    YAY, it’s about time. I can’t wait 😁

  2. Hopefully it’ll be a better offering than the link indicates. A collection of straight-to-video movies as anyone ever did see …

  3. Finally this channel is coming soon, for all the bad news lately finally some positive news. Yet there’s still no HGTV stream on ThreeNow or Freeview streaming, I’m thinking they don’t have the rights to stream HGTV programming live. Also, Philip: Juice TV joined the Freeview streaming platform on Monday with a dedicated channel on Ch38 instead of piggy backing off Ch200. I’m wondering if broadcasters are bypassing the expensive cost of Freeview UHF and satellite for Freeview streaming or are the costs all the same?

  4. Great news, Leo: HGTV is now live streaming on ThreeNow …

  5. Just an update Philip, HGTV has started streaming on the ThreeNow platform from today it seems. It’s still not streaming on Freeview Streaming, so only time will tell until it is added.

  6. Cheers Philip for the update.
