Tonight in HD: December 6
SoHo Highlight: Dexter (Sky 10, 8.30, 5.1) An emergency with Harrison has Dexter leaning on Brother Sam for support as he questions the idea of faith. As Homicide narrows in on a suspect, a winged messenger has an unexpected revelation for Dexter. “I feel as though this was the episode we were kind of waiting for,” IGN said, “while the typical ‘Dexter kill’ episodes, almost six years in now, have grown a bit stale due to the fact that most every victim has to somehow also represent a separate psychological revelation to Dexter.” TelevisionBlend agreed: “If we thought last week’s episode of Dexter ended on a dark note, A Horse of a Different Colour somehow managed to top it. It seems too early in the season for things to be falling into place, however something tells me it’s only going to get darker and more complicated from here.” But the AV Club disagreed: “For the show to have any sense of urgency, Dexter has to be engaged in some kind of cat-and-mouse game at all times, and there was nothing of the sort in this episode.” ✭✭✭✭
Friends (TV2, 6.30, R) Phoebe learns that she can change her name to Princess Consuela Banana-Hammock; Rachel is offered a job in Paris. ✭✭✭

The Celebrity Apprentice (TV2, 8.30) Naked women make a luxurious statement in tonight’s challenge. ✭
NCIS (TV3, 8.30, 5.1, F) In the eighth-season finale, the team find themselves in grave danger when they finally confront the Port-to-Port killer. Said Daemon’s TV in its review: “I’m still reeling from tonight’s finale and most of that is coming from literally the last ten minutes of it … The show threw in a couple of new twists that are setting up what could be great storylines for next season.” ✭✭
NCIS: Los Angeles (TV3, 9.25, 5.1, F) The team sets out to determine if a marine is a killer or the victim of an international setup. (This is not the season finale — TV3 is quitting the show early in the third season to accommodate summer movies and documentaries.) ✭✭
