The Amazing Race was not in HD.
Are you sure about The Amazing Race? My understanding is that the show doesn’t go to high-def until the next season, starting in the US in a couple of weeks.

Thanks to both Matthews for pointing out The Amazing Race isn’t in HD. Your vigilance is appreciated. I, too, understood it wasn’t going HD until the next season, hence this post: http://www.screenscribe.tv/hdtv/race-to-look-even-more-amazing/ But I’m afraid when TVNZ advised it would be in HD, in the billings they supply media and platforms like Sky (check the banner description for The Amazing Race on My Sky HDi), I unwisely took the broadcaster at its word. It’s challenging enough chasing TVNZ to confirm shows in HD they haven’t listed as such, let alone second guess those they say are in HD. However, clearly I no longer can assume such advice is correct. The Week Ahead in HD and Tonight in HD guides will be amended.
