SoHo Highlight: Strike Back (Sky 10, 8.30, 5.1) Scott and Stonebridge try to thwart Connolly’s ruthless plan to deliver ATAT’s WMD device to Latif. If you haven’t yet discovered this action-packed series, The Huffington Post has a succinct recap of the first three episodes of what it calls “one of the most explosive shows on television — really. In true HBO/Cinemax fashion, it’s the perfect blend of blood, violence, sex and gritty humour.” ✭✭✭✭

The Middle (TV2, 7.30) With Sue now in high school, Axl – who is totally embarrassed by her presence – decides to play a mischievous trick on her, which earns his perfectionist sister a number of tardy slips; Mike sets a meeting with Brick’s new fourth-grade teacher after learning that he’s allowing his son to skip gym class. Glee’s Chord Overstreet (Sam Evans) guest stars as Mr Wilkerson (above). After suffering “a heck of a lot of Hecks” in the US hour-long season premiere (TV2 played it in two parts), US critics thought this episode an improvement, with The AV Club grading it an A-: “Hopefully, most of you will agree that this was a solid return to traditional form for the show.” ✭✭✭✭
Home & Away (TV3, 5.30) The body found at the Caravan Park is identified; Sid is questioned by the police; Liam and Bianca finally get married. ✭✭
