Sky Movies Premiere: Fast Five (Sky 20, 8.30, 5.1) Fast 5 is an Ocean’s Eleven on wheels that reunites characters from the first four movies for a $100 million scam where they try to rob the drug-dealing dude who runs Rio by breaking into a police station where the loot is stashed. One gang member’s assessment of the plan also sums up the preposterous but energetic plot: “It’s gone from mission impossible to mission in-freakin’-sanity!” A terrific addition to the cast is carjacker Vin Diesel’s newest nemesis, Dwyane Johnson, as the muscle car of federal agents. The Big C (TV3, 9.30, 5.1, F) Season finale: Paul uncovers a secret about Myk while Adam discovers one about Poppy; Lee's passing has a profound effect on Cathy and she decides on a special way to ring in the New Year. TV3 is playing the final three episodes back-to-back to accommodate next Sunday's global launch of Touch, which will debut at 8.30 and push House back to 9.30. Season three debuts on US TV next month and will guest star Susan Sarandon, Alias' Victor Garber and The West Wing's Allison Janney. ✮✮

Pretty Little Liars (TV2, 5.30) On the eve of the annual Rosewood Charity Fashion Show, Allison’s mother reappears and requests the remaining girls model in the show in honour of her dead daughter. ✮✮
