Tonight in HD: March 3

SoHo Highlight: The Shadow Line (Sky 10, 9.30, 5.1) Gabriel is refusing his pregnant ex-mistress’s request and learns why Harvey Wratten got a pardon. “BBC2′s increasingly fascinating police drama reaches and passes its halfway stage in this episode, yet neither DI Jonah Gabriel (Chiwetel Ejiofor) nor Joseph Bede (Christopher Eccleston) appear much closer to accomplishing their respective goals than they were in the hours after the death of gangster Harvey Wratten,” Cultbox said of part four. “The plot continues to unwind, revealing a seemingly endless stream of unexpected strands and unexplored possibilities that beset and beguile both men at every turn.” Said The Guardian: “Better than last week’s episode, though not as good as the week before, this continues to be a maddening mix of solid mystery and clunky lines. However, with the imminent arrival of Glickman (Antony Sher) and Nurse Jackie’s Eve Best, things are looking up.” ✭✭✭✭

Terra Nova (TV3, 7.30, 5.1) When Terra Nova comes under attack from a legion of Pterosaurs, pre-historic dinosaur birds, Jim and Taylor (Avatar's Stephen Lang, above) must find a way to save the colony before it’s completely overtaken. Reckons IGN of episode two: "With Instinct, showrunner Brannon Braga has a big job on his hands. He needs to follow in the footsteps of an extremely expensive and ambitious pilot with an effort that proves Terra Nova will continue to be a larger than life spectacle on a weekly basis. Unsurprisingly, Instinct isn't able to reach the bar set by Genesis, but it does serve as a decent follow up and gives us a glimpse of what we can expect every week." ✭✭✭
