NCIS: Los Angeles (TV3, 9.30, 5.1) Season three opens with the team searching for Hetty in Romania, and Callen learning something new about his past. Series producer and showrunner Shane Brennan told TVGuide.com the first four episodes will reveal more about Callen’s backstory than all of the last two seasons. “When we get to that fourth episode, I think everyone’s going to take a big deep breath, and say, ‘OK, where’s he going to go now? What’s the next part of this journey?’  We answer a lot of questions, and they are heart-wrenching.” ✫✫
