Top-Rating NZOA Shows: May 1 – 7
Country Calendar and David Lomas Investigates again were the most-watched NZ On Air-funded programmes of the week, with each series posting significantly higher viewerships.
The rural lifestyle perennial drew 737,200 people aged 5+ on May 3 compared to 676,900 viewers the previous Sunday.
Week-on-week, David Lomas Investigates improved from 417,500 to 430,700.
One Lane Bridge finished third, but with fewer viewers than the week before: 346,500 vs 371,100.
In fourth place was Unbreakable, 236,400; in its second week, it averaged 22,100 more viewers.
A repeat of Grand Designs NZ rounded out the top five, with 194,200 viewers, while completing the top 10 were:
- Coast NZ (151,600)
- Q + A With Jack Tame (106,700)
- Dai’s House Party (96,100)
- You Got This! (78,200)
- Fresh (61,900).
Coast NZ and Fresh were both off-peak broadcasts, and Q+A and Dai’s House Party were down sharply: the current affairs hour averaged 77,700 fewer viewers while the sketch comedy in its second week shed 19,000 – but still was well ahead of the poorly debuting You Got This!.
- Note these figures include +1 channels but not time-shifted viewing.
